Are you a fan of YouTuber Kevin Droniak who launched into fame in 2013 by posting videos of car rides with his grandmother? Or how about Sabrina Cruz who has used her channel to shut down fat shaming or PewDiePie’s awesome real-time game commentaries? In this camp, you will explore the skills and habits of successful social media content creators and learn the essential skills needed to produce consistent media for their various social media channels. Through the process of script writing, shot listing, location scouting, filming, audio capturing, and editing in Adobe Premiere, you will work to communicate your story. In addition to learning key film production and editing skills, you will explore personal branding and learn how to gain and keep a regular viewing audience. You will produce your own animated opening sequence in Adobe After Effects and produce 2–3 short videos, both individually and in small production crews.

The only thing they need to bring is a lunch, their creative juices, and enthusiasm! Our lab environments are equipped with everything our students need to develop their creative projects.
There is a 1:10 instructor to student ratio and our labs hold a maximum of 24 students for optimal learning. Since groups will be from 10 to 20, there will always be at least two instructors to teach and assist in project development for all students in the lab.
